Timeline

The timeline for a commission depends on the medium used.
I work in both oil paint and water-based mediums, each with their own rhythm and drying needs.

Water-Based Paintings
Water-based mediums (like watercolor, gouache, or acrylic inks) dry much faster.
Creation Time: 1–4 weeks
Drying Time: Typically 1–5 days before safe handling
Shipping: Can be shipped shortly after completion depending on humidity and texture
These pieces are ideal if you prefer a quicker turnaround while still receiving expressive, intuitive work.
Oil Paintings
Oil paintings require more patience — their beauty lies in slow layering, depth, and texture.
Creation Time: 2–6 weeks
Initial Drying Time: 7–14 days (minimum) before they can be handled or shipped
Full Cure Time: Months (not required before delivery)
Oil paint must dry gradually to preserve its richness, softness, and luminous color.
If you choose an oil piece, know that the timeline is part of the art itself.
